Fruit filled, flavorful, easy to make, kid-friendly (alcohol free), and immune boosting Citrus Sangria.

So last week we went to Paris. It was amazing. We ice skated on the Eiffel Tower, ate macarons from Laduree, saw glorious artwork at the Louvre, and ate our body weight in pastries. But one thing I did not count on was every single one of my kids getting sick. They all caught a nasty cold, which I am sure had something to do with flying (recycled air), a major change in schedules and lack of sleep, and maybe in the case of my youngest, licking the windows in the metro. Gross I know. So I wanted to help them get over the sniffles and hydrate them with something they would LOVE drinking, that would boost their immune system, and give them tons of other awesome benefits.
Check out this video to see how easy it is:

You guys, I don’t drink alcohol, and I usually don’t regret it, but every time I see a pitcher full of fruity Sangria I get a little jealous. Those bright colors and bold flavors are so appealing to me. So I decided it was time to make myself an alcohol free version that rocks! And citrus is so great for boosting immunity, not to mention my secret ingredient that added flavor, and tons of benefits like focus, immunity, metabolism, and more, that I knew this would be the perfect time to attempt it. You guys…this is my perfect drink! Look no further, this is it for me.

So what is my secret ingredient? Well, like a traditional sangria I used a variety of lovely citrus fruits, as there are so many in season right now, but I also used a blood orange strawberry pear juice drink. Blood orange is probably one of my top 10 favorite flavors so I could not wait to try this one.

Basically Perfect is a line of gluten-free, immunity-boosting and detoxifying herbal supplements that kids and adults will both love. It promotes comfort, focus, and immunity, while alleviating stress and easing discomfort. Plus it is only 80 calories for a 12 ounce can. Umm…awesome. So I added it to my Citrus Sangria. Then, I added some grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed lemon juice, a little orange juice and wahla. Â The result was a sparkling, flavorful, immune boosting taste of heaven.

Ususally drink lolts of vitamin C beverages. Perfect might be better, as would not burn your throat. Have never heard of this brand but will look for it. New to web site really enjoying.
